I’m very happy that Magda persuaded me to decide to record the wedding and I’m even happier that you had the time off and could be with us on the day.
You were along with your wife, so I wouldn’t want to leave out Kasia either. I really like your sensitivity and focus on the little details that make up the whole. Footage like the flying bee by the flowers, the plane in the sky, or with Robert’s preparations – that painting in the background are very captivating (well maybe that painting, it’s a little bit in a different way). Slowing down certain moments so that you can enjoy them and immerse yourself in those feelings, for example as my mum is driving me or as Robert and I are already walking after the wedding ceremony, further undercuts the specialness of the moment. You were virtually invisible throughout, which allowed you to feel at ease. There are moments in the video where you can be seen running around, but I’m glad they are there, because at the end of the day you were part of it too.
I was very captured by your guesswork and sense of timing, especially during my preparations. I watched the video three times and cried three times – the emotion is beautifully shown on it, there is both ‘magic’ but also naturalness and lightness. ❤ All the threads come together beautifully and form a cohesive story.
