Lisa i Michael - Zamek w Niepołomicach

Royal wedding at Niepołomice Castle

Can you imagine a more noble backdrop for a solemn wedding celebration than the courtyard of Niepołomice Castle? Romantic cloisters surrounding the dance floor. Majestic walls looking down on the guests. A place like out of a fairy tale. Allows you to build an extremely solemn atmosphere. The words of toasts and the music resound more beautifully here. There is a unique aura in the castle grounds, which is undeniably conducive to such an important celebration as a wedding.

International wedding

Lisa and Michael live in Toronto on a daily basis. He knows Poland very well from home stories. According to family records, his roots come from our country. What’s more, his ancestors frequented the Niepołomice Castle, taking part in hunts at the court of John III Sobieski himself.

The newlyweds, paying homage to the groom’s ancestors, decided to celebrate their wedding day right here. In Malopolska, in the courtyard of a Renaissance castle where Polish kings once rested.

Authentic vows in St Barbara’s Church

The preparations and the nuptials themselves took place in Krakow. The solemn mass at St Barbara’s Church was enhanced with a unique element that will squeeze tears from the eyes of even the biggest of heartthrobs. Lisa and Michael opted for an authentic vow.

In my role as a wedding videographer, I have seen many declarations of love. However, words spoken straight from the heart, make for an incredibly intimate and special moment during a wedding. Maturity, deep feelings, tears of emotion and smiles full of happiness – the heart grows from the filming itself.

Royal wedding decoration of Niepołomice Castle

The walls of a royal castle require a unique setting. What the guests saw upon entering the courtyard definitely fitted in with any ideas of a royal wedding. The tables were dominated by sapphire tablecloths, gold tableware and beautiful green garlands. Flags with the classic coat of arms dangled from the walls.

The highlight of the wedding party, besides the beautiful toasts given by the bride and groom, was the fireworks show and fireworks. All in a truly royal atmosphere.

During the filming of the wedding at Niepołomice Castle, I had the opportunity to work with Łukasz from LMFoto.
