Gosia and Alessio’s Wedding –

A Magical Ceremony and an Italian Style Reception at Dwór Tomaszowice

Wedding at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Krakow

In the heart of Krakow, in the picturesque St. Francis of Assisi Church, Gosia and Alessio had an incredibly touching wedding ceremony. Surrounded by their loved ones and the solemn atmosphere of the sacred interior, they exchanged their vows.

St. Francis of Assisi Church is one of the most charming places on the map of Krakow. Its rich history, unique stained-glass windows by Stanisław Wyspiański, and unparalleled ambiance made it the perfect choice for this Polish-Italian couple’s wedding.

Gosia, dressed in a classic lace wedding gown with a long train, looked like a true princess, while Alessio, in an elegant navy blue suit, exuded Italian style and charm. Their wedding vows, spoken with trembling voices, brought tears to the eyes of the many guests. The ceremony featured traditional elements, including the exchange of rings and a symbolic kiss, which was met with enthusiastic applause.

Journey to Dwór Tomaszowice – A Prelude to an Unforgettable Night

After the ceremony, the newlyweds got into a Maseratti – a classic symbol of Italian style. Accompanied by music, laughter, and joy, the guests made their way to Dwór Tomaszowice, where an unforgettable wedding reception was about to take place. Even the journey itself was a preview of a spectacular night of celebration until dawn!

An Italian-Style Wedding Full of Passion and Tradition

Dwór Tomaszowice is the perfect venue for hosting a wedding with a truly Italian character. Surrounded by greenery and featuring a rustic ambiance, it provided an ideal setting for this exceptional night. The decorations reflected a Mediterranean style – tables were adorned with olive branches, lemons, and candles, while the air was filled with the scent of lavender and rosemary.

From the very beginning, guests were treated to Italian delicacies. The tables were filled with antipasti – cheeses, olives, prosciutto, and fresh bread. The first course featured classic ravioli with ricotta and spinach, while the main dish was traditional Italian ossobuco along with grilled seafood. A wedding feast wouldn’t be complete without pizza, freshly baked in a traditional oven on-site.

Of course, no true Italian wedding would be complete without excellent wine – prosecco flowed freely, while red Chianti perfectly complemented the dishes. The highlight of the feast was a multi-tiered cake inspired by Italian classics – delicate sponge cake soaked in limoncello, layered with lemon cream, and decorated with fresh fruit.

Music, Dance, and Italian Festivities

From the very beginning, it was clear that this wedding would be one to remember for a lifetime. A live band playing classic hits from Eros Ramazzotti and Andrea Bocelli ensured that the dance floor remained full at all times. Italians, known for their boundless energy, pulled everyone onto the dance floor – from the youngest to the oldest guests.

Italian wedding traditions were also honored throughout the night. At one point, all guests gathered in a circle to sing and dance the “Tarantella” – a traditional dance from southern Italy that symbolizes joy and togetherness. In line with Italian customs, the groom had to “ransom” his bride’s shoe, and later, the newlyweds expressed their gratitude to their parents by presenting them with special gifts.

Surprises and Attractions for Guests

The couple arranged special attractions that made the night even more unforgettable. A professional barista served freshly brewed Italian coffee, including rich espresso and creamy cappuccino. A gelato stand was a huge hit, offering traditional Italian ice cream in flavors like pistachio, lemon, and salted caramel.

For those who enjoy stronger drinks, a tasting of Italian liqueurs was available, featuring the famous Limoncello and Amaretto. The night reached its peak with a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the sky over Dwór Tomaszowice, leaving guests in awe.
